A light paddle made entirely of carbon fibre. The one-piece shaft has no joint, making the paddle even lighter and stiffer.
BETA is an aggressive Jantex kayak blade with a fantastic catch. In the second phase of the stroke it can feel slightly nervous, but it gives a good exit from the water.
It performs best at a steady rhythm – changing stroke rate is harder with it, so it is recommended for well-prepared athletes. It demands particularly good technique in surfski-type kayaks.
Length and feather angle are set during manufacture to your order and cannot be changed later, so the paddle always feels the same. That is why professionals most often choose one-piece paddles.
Blade sizes: 600, 620, 640, 660, 680, 700, 720, 730, 740, 760, 780, 790, 800, 810, 820 and 840 cm² (blade weight 190–270 g). Standard shaft diameter is 29 mm; five shaft stiffness options, from very flexible to extra stiff.
