Beta Kids' Two-Piece Paddle

The junior version of the Beta paddle: just as light and made of the same materials as the adult model, only with a smaller blade and a lower price.

Designed for teenagers and older children (up to 13 years) as well as masters paddlers. For the youngest paddlers aged 6–10 we recommend the Mini Gamma 500 – the only true children's Jantex kayak paddle. For children up to 13 the manufacturer recommends the very flexible (Super Flex) shaft, for older paddlers the flexible (Flexi Soft) one.

The whole paddle is made of carbon fibre. The Beta blade grips the water aggressively, so it suits technically advanced young paddlers who paddle at a steady rhythm. For beginners we recommend the Gamma junior paddle.

The two-piece shaft lets you set the feather angle you want and extend the paddle by up to 10 cm (up to 5 cm with the titanium lock). The paddle comes apart easily for travel, and a special ring lets you put it back together in under five seconds.

Blade sizes: 600, 620, 640 and 660 cm² (blade weight 190–200 g). The 600 cm² blade is for children up to 10 and beginners, 620–660 cm² for paddlers aged 10–13 and masters.
