Aquatherm Paddling Gloves

ICON Thermo-Pro™ Aquatherm® Performance paddling pogies – among the best paddling pogies on the market. They protect your hands from cold, wind and spray on chilly days while barely interfering with your paddling. You don't want to drop your paddle at a crucial moment because your numb fingers can no longer hold it.

How are they different from ordinary gloves? The pogie fits over the paddle shaft and your hand holds the shaft directly inside it – not through fabric. This keeps a precise feel for the paddle and a secure grip.

Why choose them

• Stiffened hoop around the wrist opening – the opening always stays open, so your hand slides in and out easily. Crucial when racing or tired, and for safety if you ever need to let go of the paddle quickly.
• Your hand holds the shaft directly – precise paddle feel and grip, just like paddling bare-handed.
• Wind- and waterproof Aquatherm® fabric – your hands stay warm and protected.
• Minimises wind chill without making your hands overheat.
• Minimal weight gain when wet – the fabric absorbs very little water.
• One standard size, sold as a pair, black.

Suitable for: sprint and marathon kayaks and canoes, surfski and sea kayaking.

Care: turn inside out before washing; use a short, warm, delicate wash at no more than 40 °C in mild soapy water (not detergent); rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not spin, wring, tumble dry, iron or bleach; keep away from hot radiators and excessive heat.
